Fair handling for digital orders.
This Policy applies to eligible D’AUBE SONNTAG digital products and software. For orders processed by Paddle, Paddle is the Merchant of Record and manages the payment-side refund process.
1. General rule for digital products
Because digital Products can be delivered or accessed immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable once download, access, activation or other digital delivery has begun, except where a refund is required by applicable law, granted under Paddle’s buyer terms, or appropriate under the circumstances described below.
2. When we will review a refund request
We will review requests in good faith where, for example:
- you were charged more than once for the same order;
- the Product was not delivered and we cannot restore delivery within a reasonable time;
- the Product is materially different from the description shown before purchase and the issue cannot reasonably be corrected;
- a confirmed technical defect prevents normal use within the stated requirements and we cannot provide a reasonable fix or workaround;
- the transaction was unauthorized or fraudulent, subject to payment-provider and security review;
- applicable consumer law gives you a non-waivable refund or withdrawal right.
3. Situations that normally do not qualify
Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, a refund will normally not be granted solely because:
- you changed your mind after digital delivery or access began;
- you purchased the wrong Product despite clear pre-purchase information;
- your device, software or environment does not meet clearly stated requirements;
- you expected features, services or custom work that were not included in the Product description;
- you used the Product in a way that breaches its license or these Terms.
4. How to request a refund
For Paddle-processed orders, submit the request through Paddle’s official buyer-support process so the order can be located and the payment can be handled by the Merchant of Record. You may also email hello@daubesonntag.com with your order reference, Product name and a concise explanation of the issue. Do not email card numbers, CVV/CVC, PINs or banking authentication information.
5. Timing and outcome
We aim to review Product-side issues promptly, but the time for a payment refund to appear depends on Paddle, the payment method and the buyer’s financial institution. Where a refund is approved, it may be full or partial as appropriate to the order and applicable rights.
6. Subscriptions
If D’AUBE later offers a subscription Product, cancellation stops future renewals according to the terms shown at checkout. Cancellation does not automatically refund prior billing periods unless required by applicable law or otherwise approved under this Policy or Paddle’s applicable buyer terms.
7. Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law. If local law or Paddle’s applicable buyer terms provide greater protection, that protection applies.
